The 2026 American Off-Road Racing Championship season is officially underway, and the Camburg + MagnaFlow team set the tone with a commanding victory at the 2026 Parker 400. As the opening round of the American Off-Road Racing Championship, the Parker 400 is known for its demanding terrain and unforgiving desert conditions, the perfect testing grounds for the Camburg + MagnaFlow team.

Qualifying – Thursday, January 15

From the moment qualifying began, it was clear the team came prepared. Lining up in the Unlimited Truck SPEC class, driver Kyle Jergensen and co-driver Shawn Shanks laid down a time of 5:33.978, earning 1st in class and 3rd overall against a stacked field of competitors.

The truck was fast and dialed in with the latest in MagnaFlow Group components, giving the team confidence heading into race day.

Race Day – Saturday, January 17

Saturday’s green flag at 11:30 AM PST marked the beginning of a 126-mile battle through Parker’s iconic desert terrain. The Camburg + MagnaFlow SPEC Truck saw some heavy traffic from the start as the other teams and classes settled in, but we kept making our way through the noise. By the end of lap two, the truck had barged into the leading spot with a clear goal of leading not only the class, but the overall race.

The Camburg + MagnaFlow SPEC Truck secured the win, completing the three-lap race in a total time of 5:37:10. Jergensen and Shanks crossed the line in first place overall, outpacing not only the class competitors, but the Unlimited trucks as well. However, a 5-minute penalty was assessed post-race, as the team misjudged the location of the Lap 1 stop-check, bringing the final time to 5:42:10. This was still enough to secure the SPEC class win with a two minute plus lead over the other SPECs. The win marks three-in-a-row for Jergensen and team following wins at Laughlin and RATR.

What’s Next?

Winning the Parker 400 to open the 2026 season is a strong statement, validating the extensive development that happens long before the race even starts. From suspension to brakes to the all-new MagnaFlow Race Mufflers, the Parker desert delivered the kind of real-world environment that Camburg relies on to continue refining our race-winning products.

Next up, the team sets their sights on March’s Mint 400 in Las Vegas / Primm.
