Race weekends hold a special place here at Camburg Engineering. Winning is always the goal, but for us, races also carry the added purpose of product testing. We believe in pushing our components to the limit in the harshest conditions, ensuring that the same products available to our customers are truly race-tested and race-proven.

Laughlin Desert Classic 2025

For this year’s Laughlin Desert Classic, the Camburg + MagnaFlow team rolled in with new developments on the truck, including our latest KINETIK shocks and suspension, Camburg Race Brakes and Rotors, and debuting MagnaFlow Race Mufflers. Each component represented the next evolution of performance born directly from competition.

The weekend kicked off Thursday with qualifying, where Kyle and Shawn came out fast, securing 2nd place in an ultra-tight 1-2-3 lineup separated by just one second each.

Heading into Saturday, confidence was high. With the afternoon sun beginning to fade, the truck ran flawlessly through the first two laps. By lap three, the team made their move, taking over the class lead and holding strong through the final two laps. A commanding Saturday finish placed the team first in class with a 17-second cushion heading into Sunday’s finale.

Despite chasing dust from the Trick Truck leaders, Sunday’s race went about as smooth as desert racing gets. The team widened their lead through laps six to nine, giving them breathing room to bring it home clean on the final lap and secure a first-place class finish.
