This system is an off-road kit with performance in mind. This kit uses a 3″ fabricated race spindles with a massive 1 in Uni-Ball. The upper A-Arm is made with a laser cut pod and 1 1/2″ .120 wall 4130 chromoly tubing. For shocks, Bilstein 5100 series. The coil springs will provide 2.5″ lift. This kit will increase track width by 1.5″ per side giving you a wider stance and added wheel travel. This is why Fiberglass front fenders are recommended. This kit will provide 10″ of travel.
The Camburg long travel off road system is by far the best available for the Ranger Edge. This is the same system we used on our Ranger Edge race truck. We have raced with this system at the 2005 Baja 1000 and the 2006 Baja 500 in the Trophy Truck class. This system will yield 19″ of wheel travel (with no ac fan box). This system utilizes a full box construction lower arm with 1 1/2″ lower uni balls and 1″ uniballs for the lower arm pivots (no urethane bushings here). The upper arm is made with 1 1/2″ .120 wall tube, the reason we do this is to fit a coilover and a by pass shock. This system also comes with a full stainless steel steering system, 17-4 stainless inner clevis, and spacers along with the stainless tie rods. Because of the high wheel travel numbers we achieve we use a 1″ outer heim joint and a 3/4″ inner heim.

We have a wide selection of rear shocks to meet your needs and budget. The Bilstein 5100 shocks are great for all around use and more tailored for a plush street ride. Stepping up to FOX’s 2.0 Performance Series shock has a larger aluminum shock body which holds more oil for better shock performance offroad and has a firmer ride.
This is the most complete rear link kit out there today for the Ford Ranger. We offer two different kits, one for the older i-beam trucks and the other for the newer a-arm trucks. Geometry and mounting locations are designed for the extra-cab models. If you have a single cab ranger we can sell the kit minus the driveshaft carrier bearing strut frame as it’s not needed. The stock inner joint on the 1998-2013 Rangers is known for failing under off-road conditions, so we came up with a solution for this problem. This billet CNC machined 17-4 H1150 stainless steel clevis with a 17-4 H1150 stainless steering rod incorporates a 3/4″ FK JMX rod end with a pair of stainless spacers. This steering upgrade is an awesome upgrade for these Rangers if you drive your truck off-road. This is also the same clevis used in our Long Travel coil-over off-road system.

These springs are the highest quality available today for the coil sprung 98+ Rangers.
These are replacement springs for the Camburg 5.5 kit, they will not work on a stock truck.
Our extended shackle is designed around using Deaver leaf springs. These are longer length than the stock shackles and allow for maximum wheel travel. The stock shackles are too short and limit droop. These are 1″ longer on the Chevy Silverado. Since the shackles are longer, they will lower the ride height compared to the stock shackles.
Looking to lift the rear of your truck? We use the best leafs springs out there manufactured in the USA by Deaver Spring who’s been in the business for over 100 years. They are progressive for better bottoming control when off-roading but plush when driven on the street for a much better ride compared to stock both on and off-road. Some models have a mini-pak available at a lower cost that replaces the factory over-load spring with a 3-5 leaf pack for added lift and progression. Most Deaver springs are not designed for heavy hauling and heavy towing.
When you are ready to take your 5.5 Performance kit to the next level the 2.0 shock upgrade is a great choice. This shock mount is designed to utilize a 2.0 x 8-8.5″ travel remote reservoir shock. This shock upgrade is a level 8 to install so we recommend a high end off-road fabrication shop to do the install.This kit must be welded on and does not include shocks.
Looking to upgrade your single shock Camburg kit to our dual shock version? The upper mount welds to the frame and the lower mount welds to the lower arm. This setup gives you maximum wheel travel with our kit.
This sub frame mounts to the lower A-Arm pivot points making them more solid. This will help prevent the frame from bending under hard off-road use. Also included is an aluminum skid plate, and Camburg grey powder coat.
The stock transmission X-member will not hold up to extreme off-road conditions. This is why we came out with our Transmission X-Member. This X-Member is 100% bolt on and comes powder coated. We also incorporated a strut support system to help stiffen the chassis in the transmission area. This only fits coil sprung Rangers, not torsion bar front ends.
Camburg’s all new upper A-arm mount gusset kit will help strengthen your frames weak link. The upper A-arm mounts can and will tear out under extreme conditions and hardcore driving. This gusset kit will work with most suspension systems out there. Also included is the lower frame bump stop reinforcement. This is a plate that gets welded under the frame where the lower a-arm bump stop hits the frame. This will add 200% more material to this location. This kit is made of laser cut 3/16″ steel and comes complete with 10 gussets.
Looking to adapt a heim to your factory steering rack? Our steering clevis’s and clevis bolts are CNC machined from heat-treated 17-4 H1150 stainless steel for maximum strength. Our design has the least amount of bumpsteer due to our design compared to other aftermarket versions. We supply stainless heim spacers to be used with a standard 3/4″ x 3/4″ heim joint (JMX-12T).
An easy way to mount a limit strap to the frame/chassis is using this clevis. It gives you the ability to adjust the strap length so initial setup is not as critical and you can re-adjust when the strap stretches over time so that you’re not allowing the suspension to droop out too far. You will need to make the mount this fits into.
We now have available the same polyurethane grease we supply with our upper arms in a grease tube to load into a grease gun and charge through zerk fittings. This is the BEST grease to use for any polyurethane bushings from upper arms to leaf springs. It contains versatile water-proof, non-melting Teflon and is formulated to seal out water and to lubricate under the most adverse conditions. It’s superior adhesive and extreme pressure qualities, combined with it’s urethane compatibility makes it the only one to use.
