The dividing piston in the reservoir separates the nitrogen gas from the shock oil preventing cavitation while maintaining consistent damping and pressures as well.\n\nThese are model specific, designed for lifted applications and valved\/tuned for a balance between daily driving and hitting your favorite Jeep trails. They offer improved small bump and square edge compliance with enough support and bottoming control for those unexpected g-out situations that can sneak up on all of us. They’re optimized for maximum wheel travel both on compression and on droop for the articulation needed when you leave the office\/pavement and push your suspension to its limits.
