This Silverado was in for a major suspension overhaul. First to go was the stock front suspension. We started with new upper and lower custom boxed A-Arms. Then we made custom Billet CNC fabricated uprights / spindles. The front arms pivot on 8 1" uni balls, 6 7/8" Rodends and 2 3/4" Rodends. The front suspension gets 16" of real usable wheel travel. Custom Brake lines where routed down the lower A-Arms and Bilstein shock boots where used to protect the steering rack. 60mm BILSTEIN shocks and Eibach coil springs where used to absorb the impact of the desert. For the air bumps, like always the best, Sway-A-Way. For the rear DEAVER custom leaf springs were a must. 14" Bilstein 60mm race shocks mounted through the bed to give this truck 15" of rear travel. A custom front bumper was fabricated and 3 Hella 4000 HID lights will light up the desert at night.
