Looking for the ultimate suspension for your Ford van? Our Baja Performance kit yields 4-5″ front lift, 2.5″ rear lift and 10″ of wheel travel. The bent I beam kits are the highest quality and strongest off-road systems for the vans. These bent beam systems will yield more wheel travel and have more ground clearance than a drop down bracket kit. The bent beam systems are only available for install through us direct. We also offer a FOX 2.0 Factory Series remote shock upgrade for the front.
We now offer a kit you can install yourself or have your local shop install. Instead of bending the i-beams to correct camber geometry, we designed and built new i-beam pivot brackets. Now this isn’t our preferred method, but is an option available to customers that are on a budget or just not able to have us install the Baja kit in-house. Newer vans that have the RSC stability/traction control will have issues with this type of kit as it upsets the stability control system and makes the van un-driveable . Our Baja kit works seamless with all vans and is the preferred suspension system for the E-Series vans and has the best handling and ride quality.
This front bumper is 100% bolt on. It’s built from 1.75″ tubing, has a thick 3/16″ aluminum skid plate with holes cut out for airflow to the radiator and is MIG welded then powder-coated. It comes complete with 3 light tabs, powder-coated black or gray and includes all the necessary grade 8 hardware. Looking for a real bumper that holds up under off-road use… you’ve found it.
With heims and uniballs you want to make sure you use the right lube and not a grease or oil that attracts dirt. Tri-flow is a teflon (PTFE) based lube that goes on wet and drys to a film to coat and seal the surfaces. You only need to use 3-4 drops per uniball or heim.
Our Camburg limit straps are made in the USA and quad wrapped for the ultimate strength from military grade materials. The mounting tabs are 4130 chromoly and plated black for corrosion resistance. These won’t stretch like cheaper versions will that are made overseas.
An easy way to mount a limit strap to the frame/chassis is using this clevis. It gives you the ability to adjust the strap length so initial setup is not as critical and you can re-adjust if the strap stretches over time or if you miscalculated the location slightly. You will need to make the mount this fits into from a piece of tubing.
Camburg Engineering is the leader in off-road suspension systems and is at the forefront in technology and design. Our over the counter parts are being race tested constantly and have won numerous championships, so if you are looking for the most proven long travel or performance suspension systems Camburg is your #1 choice.
