This kit is what’s required to rebuild the uniballs in your Camburg upper arms. The kit includes two FK Made in the USA PTFE-lined uniballs and two snap rings. Confirm sizing before ordering as some older version arms use a smaller 1.00″ uniball.
Our Factory 2.5 kit with DSC for the 11-16 Chevy/GMC 2500 HD’s takes our leveling kit to the next level. We utilize the same Camburg 1.25″ uniball upper arms but combine them with FOX 2.5 series with DSC front and rear shocks. This combination of parts not only improves the ride and handling on-road but more so off-road with the larger diameter shocks and external reservoirs. With the upper arms these shocks increase wheel travel and give you the ability to adjust the factory torsion keys to lift the front end all while improving the ride. Aftermarket torsion keys are not needed and are a waste of $$$.
Our Performance 2.5 kit for the 11-16 Chevy/GMC 2500 HD’s takes our leveling kit to the next level. We utilize the same Camburg 1.25″ uniball upper arms but combine them with KING’s 2.5 series front and rear shocks.
Our Performance 2.0 kit for the 11-17 Chevy/GMC 2500 HD’s takes our leveling kit to the next level. We utilize the same Camburg 1.25″ uniball upper arms but combine them with FOX’s 2.0 Performance Series front and rear shocks.
We replace the factory upper control arms and small weak ball-joints with a pair of 4130 chromoly custom tubular A-arms using 1.25″ uniballs to achieve maximum angles that result in more wheel travel over stock. Our arms are built from thick .188w” tubing unlike the competition. These arms also include urethane bushings and all hardware needed to install them. Also included in this new performance system is a pair of Bilstein 5100 Series shocks for the front and rear of the truck.
When lifting your truck, the stock upper arms become the limiting factor and hold back your suspensions performance. Our Camburg upper arms address these issues and more. Replacing the stock ball-joint with a uni-ball bearing we’re able to gain wheel travel with a part that is considerably stronger and will last longer under extreme conditions. We build more caster and change the camber curve to correct geometry so the vehicle aligns correctly and improves driving characteristics and handling. Because of the weight of these trucks, we build these arms with thicker 1.50″ x .188w 4130 chromoly tubing for increased strength.
For the Chevy/GMC 2500 HD’s, KING offers their 2.5 series front shocks in a remote reservoir configuration with an optional external compression adjuster for fine tuning. These bolt right in and include the necessary hardware. These are for 0-2.5″ of lift over stock in the front.
For the Chevy/GMC 2500 HD’s, KING offers their 2.5 series rear shocks in a piggyback reservoir configuration with an optional external compression adjuster for fine tuning. These bolt right in and include the necessary hardware. These are for 0-1.5″ of lift over stock in the rear.
An easy way to mount a limit strap to the frame/chassis is using this clevis. It gives you the ability to adjust the strap length so initial setup is not as critical and you can re-adjust when the strap stretches over time so that you’re not allowing the suspension to droop out too far. You will need to make the mount this fits into.
This new steering upgrade is made with strength and wheel travel in mind. This is a must if you are looking at driving your HD off Road and have a lifted truck. We do not use a heim steering upgrade for this truck as it will add too much bumpsteer and will cause other parts to wear our and have bad handling.
Looking to replace some of the individual parts for your Camburg upper arms? Here are some of the small parts used on our kits. We also offer a complete hardware kit, a bushing and sleeve kit and uniball kits separately.
We now have available the same polyurethane grease we supply with our upper arms in a grease tube to load into a grease gun and charge through zerk fittings. This is the BEST grease to use for any polyurethane bushings from upper arms to leaf springs. It contains versatile water-proof, non-melting Teflon and is formulated to seal out water and to lubricate under the most adverse conditions. It’s superior adhesive and extreme pressure qualities, combined with it’s urethane compatibility makes it the only one to use.
With heims and uniballs you want to make sure you use the right lube and not a grease that attracts dirt. Tri-Flow Superior Lubricant is a superior, light viscosity lube that allows for deep penetration into hard to reach moving parts. The drip bottle application, with a convenient straw, allows for deep penetration in hard to reach moving parts.
