FORD RANGER EDGE

We race on what we build do
they?
These are our new
Ford Ranger Edge off-road suspension systems. These systems include custom fabricated
spindles, upper A-arms with 1" mono balls, Brake lines,
Bilstein shocks, and limit straps. The Edge Performance
off-road system will yield up to 10" of wheel travel and
up to a 6" lift. The spindles will add 3.5" of lift and
the torsion bar crank will stiffen spring rate as well as
add up to 2.5" of additional lift for ground clearance. To top off this
awesome off-road performance system we have designed a
dual shock system. This system will allow the 10" of wheel
travel and give better off-road performance while
absorbing bigger hits with the two Bilstein 5100 series
shocks. The Ford Ranger Edge is an awesome platform to use
as a true off-road truck.

LONG TRAVEL SYSTEM IS HERE!

From $7000.00 installed
The Camburg long travel
off road system is by far the best available for the
Ranger Edge. This is the same system we use
on our
Ranger Edge race truck. We have raced with this system
at the 2005 Baja 1000 and the 2006 Baja 500 in the Trophy Truck class. This system will yield 19" of
wheel
travel
(with no ac fan box). This system
utilizes a full box construction lower arm with 1 1/2"
lower uni balls and 1"
uniballs for the lower arm
pivots (no urethane bushings here).
The upper arm is
made with 1 1/2" .120 wall tube, the reason
we do this
is to fit a coilover and a by pass shock. This system
also comes with a full stainless steel steering
system, 17-4 stainless inner clevis, and spacers along
with the stainless ty
rods. Because of the high wheel
travel numbers we achieve
we use a 1" outer heim joint
and a 3/4" inner heim. We also
have a billet aluminum
hub kit with larger wilwood forged disk brakes ($1500
upgrade).

The Camburg long travel
kits can be ordered 3 ways.

and By-pass shocks, Sub-Frame and Billet hubs with big
brake kit. |
This Long travel kit with
Coilovers, by-pass and billet hubs is they way to go
if you are looking for the absolute best in
performance. The added by-pass shock add a critical
bump zone and control for full race conditions. The
billet hubs not only offer more strength they also add
larger wheel bearings, larger brakes, and larger
spindle snout.
Cost of this set up
starts at $11,500.00 Installed. |

Link Race System
$4195.00
This is
the ultimate in Off-Road
Performance!
This 3 link system is a must if
you want to really haul through the desert! This
system is bolt on and comes complete with all Heims,
stainless spacers, and hardware. This system utilizes
full boxed lower links where the shocks mount as low
as possible to gain around 4" of ground clearance over
other boxed links on the market today. With the design
we utilize we have the ultimate in strength,
durability and geometry. Our system does not use cheep
bushings for pivots. We only chose to use the best in
these systems so you have confidence in the
performance in your off-road machine. With the 2 lower
link front pivots utilizing 1" uni-balls and all the
other pivots on 1 1/4" Heim joints it obvious why we
build the best available!

Bedcage
$1499.00
shocks sold
separately
Using
Sway-Away/Bilstein 16" shocks or Fox/King 14" shocks
you're able to pull 16-17" of controlled wheel travel
with Deaver F-23 L/T springs and our extended shackles.
The bedcage design easily allows you to integrate a cab
cage into the bedcage structure and stiffens the chassis
reducing frame flex do to multiple mounting points and
extensive diagonal support struts. A 32"-35" spare wheel
is securely mounted with our tire spinner mount.
It's built using 1.75" x .120 tubing and fixture MIG
welded for optimum fit and strength. It comes
powder-coated Camburg gray, includes all the grade 8
hardware you?ll need to bolt it on if you choose not to
weld it on and our tire spinner hold down that uses ACME
threads so it won't clog up & cross thread. Also
included is our powder coated lower shock mount spring
plates available in both 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" shock
spacing. |

OPTIONS |
Frame
Gusset Kit $54.95
This frame gusset kit will weld to
the stock upper A-Arm mounts. This will re-enforce the
weak factory mounts known for tearing out under
extreme conditions. |
EDGE
Sub-Frame $399.00
This sub frame mounts to the lower A-Arm pivot points
making them more solid. This will help prevent the
frame from bending under hard off-road use. Also
included is an aluminum skid plate, and Camburg grey
powder coat. |
|

Heim Steering $399.00
The stock inner joint on the A-Arm Ranger is know
for failing under off-road conditions, so we came
up with a solution for this problem. This billet
CNC machined 17-4 stainless steel clevis with a
17-4 stainless steering rod incorporates a 3/4" FK
rodend with a pair of 17-4 stainless spacers and a
F-911 1/2" bolt. This steering upgrade is an
awesome upgrade for these Rangers if you drive
your truck off-road. This is also the same clevis
used in our Long Travel coil-over off-road system.
