Driver side suspension

The Performance kit is an off-road kit with performance in mind. This kit uses a 3" fabricated race spindle with a massive 1 in Uni-Ball. The upper A-Arm is made with a laser cut pod and 1 1/2" .120 wall tubing. For shocks, Bilstein 5100 series. The springs will provide 2.5" lift. This kit will increase track width by 1.5" per side giving you a wider stance. This is why Fiberglass front fenders are a must. This kit will provide 9-10" of travel. there are two off-road kits one for the 1998-2000, and one for The 2001-2006. The 2001-2006 uses ABS and a larger factory rotor.

31" tires with a 15x7" wheel-w- stock fenders

32"-33" tires with Fiberglass fenders maximum of a 15x8" wheel. Minor trimming to the plastic bumper valance to clear larger tires.

NEW OPTIONS FOR PERFORMANCE KITS


FRAME GUSSET KIT $54.95

Camburg's all new upper A-arm mount gusset kit will help strengthen your frames weak link. The upper A-arm mounts can and will tear out under extreme conditions and hardcore driving. This gusset kit will work with most suspension systems out there. Also included is the lower frame bump stop reinforcement. This
is a plate that gets welded under the frame where the lower
a-arm bump stop hits the frame. This will add 200% more material to this location.
This kit is made of laser cut 3/16"
steel and comes complete with 10 gussets.

 


2.0 Shock upgrade

When you are ready to take your 5.5 Performance kit to the next level the 2.0 shock upgrade is a great choice. This shock mount is designed to utilize a 8" travel remote reservoir shock. This shock upgrade is a level 8 to install so we recommend a high end off-road fabrication shop to do the install. This kit includes upper shock mounts with spacers and lower A-Arm shock mounts. This kit must be welded on.

Transmission X-Member $289.00

The stock transmission X-member will not hold up to extreme off-road conditions. This is why we came out with our Transmission X-Member. This X-Member is 100% bolt on and comes powder coated. We also incorporated a strut support system to help stiffen the chassis in the transmission area.  

 


Heim Steering $399.00

The stock inner joint on the 1998-2005 Ranger is know for failing under off-road conditions, so we came up with a solution for this problem. This billet CNC machined 17-4 stainless steel clevis with a 17-4 stainless steering rod incorporates a 3/4" FK rodend with a pair of 17-4 stainless spacers and a F-911 1/2" bolt. This steering upgrade is an awesome upgrade for these Rangers if you drive your truck off-road. This is also the same clevis used in our Long Travel coil-over off-road system.

With our all new spring design we are able to have a plush ride with the ability to handle extreme off-road terrain. This new optimum design allows for more wheel travel through the use of high quality materials and manufacturing process. Finished with heat treat, shot penned (stress relived) and a high quality powder coated finish for corrosion resistance. This is the ultimate in high performance Race proven off-road suspension. Long Travel suspension on a 1998 and up 2wd Ranger is no easy task. The installation of this high end off-road system is for the experts. This system will give you up to 17" of travel with a massive 1.5" lower mono balls and 1" uppers; just like the Trophy Trucks. The  lower pivots are not urethane, or Delrin they are massive 1" mono balls. This kit is high end so if you are looking for the best off-road system for your A-Arm Ranger you have found it.

 

A custom shock mount needs to be fabricated to use this system. Major modification also need to be done to make room for the shocks. This Off-road system should only be installed by a high end off-road race shop.

Rear Bedcage

Using Sway-Away/Bilstein 16" shocks or Fox/King 14" shocks you're able to pull 16-17" of controlled wheel travel with Deaver F-23 L/T springs and our extended shackles. The bedcage design easily allows you to integrate a cab cage into the bedcage structure and stiffens the chassis reducing frame flex do to multiple mounting points and extensive diagonal support struts. A 32"-35" spare wheel is securely mounted with our tire spinner mount.

It's built using 1.75" x .120 tubing and fixture MIG welded for optimum fit and strength. It comes powder-coated Camburg gray, includes all the grade 8 hardware you?ll need to bolt it on if you choose not to weld it on and our tire spinner hold down that uses ACME threads so it won't clog up & cross thread. Also included is our powder coated lower shock mount spring plates available in both 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" shock spacing.

 

CAMBURG 3 LINK KIT

This is the ultimate in Off-Road Performance! This 3 link system is a must if you want to really haul through the desert! This system is bolt on and comes complete with all Heims, stainless spacers, and hardware. This system utilizes  full boxed lower links where the shocks mount as low as possible to gain around 4" of ground clearance over other boxed links on the market today. With the design we utilize we have the ultimate in strength, durability and geometry. Our system does not use cheep bushings for pivots. We only chose to use the best in these systems so you have confidence in the performance in your off-road machine. With the 2 lower link front pivots utilizing 1" uni-balls and all the other pivots on 1 1/4" Heim joints it obvious why we build the best available! All of our brackets are 100% bolt on and come complete with a carrier bearing cross member / mount for correct drive shaft geometry.
